View Full Version : Who has designed an excellent spreadsheet/database to record results?

I've been using pokercharts.com to record my results, but now they've started charging so I want to find another way. I've got a little spreadsheet that I set up, but am sure that some of you have designed things that are much better. If so, could I 'steal' it from you?

What would be great is to have a spreadsheet/database that has a front view like pokercharts.com or similar and that automatically calculates hourly rate etc.

Thanks in advance.

(If this has been answered before then please post a link, I did do a search but couldn't find anything)

Aleomagus has an absolutely essential tourny spreadsheet. I don't know how to link it, but search "New Penultimate 2005 SNG Spreadsheet" in Single Table Tournaments.

I have been wondering the same thing. I have been searching the archives and have not found any free excell spreadsheets. As of now I am just using a simple spreadsheet to record results, but would like some of the more advance functions that others use.

Although given the responses so far it looks like I am just going to pay the one big bet for the spreadsheet I am hoping that a 2plus2er has one that they would like to share.

Thanks for your help,
Steve

I'll PM you a spreadsheet that does quite a good job. You need to have a basic knowledge of Excel to manipulate it a bit to reflect the sites that you use, but other than that it's excellent.

www.pokerdominator.com (http://www.pokerdominator.com) is like pokercharts.com, but they are free, and they can import all of your existing pokercharts.com data.

Intriguing... I didn't know about any of these sites/programs. What do they have to offer that something like PT doesn't?

There have been a few scripts that have been written by members that will help in the PT to statking export. Below is one that I have not had the opportunity to try but will eventually. Do a search and look for some more info on this.

There are a couple of options, for free there is the the following:
excel spreadsheet - click the link on the webpage this takes u to in order to download (http://www.homepokergames.com/software.php)

and this:

Cardplayers Free Poker Analyst (http://www.cardplayer.com/poker-analyst/)

If u want to spend a little u can get Statking, its a great program as it can tell u win rate, st deviation, br requirements, etc.

If u just need record keeping, i would use the excel spread sheet above, works well and it will work when u are doing taxes. The only thing I dont like about Pokertracker is that sometimes the totals or winnings are unreliable...usually do to something being changed from sites to sites HH...I keep track of my play through PT and keep track of winnings in an excel spreadsheet.
