How do you play this? Pretty solid hand, but not a lock.

How do you extract the most here with so many seeing the flop?

I just make a normal sized bet here of about 50 chips. I'd check if there was no ace on flop.

[/ QUOTE ] I'd make it 75, and I'd be ready to push over the top of a raise.

about nothing could stop me from getting my whole stack in there on this flop. i would bet around 65, cuz i like stupid numbers, and then push to a raise. holla

Id do the same too.

Trouble is if in the unlikely event we end up all-in with someone else on the flop we're the underdog.

i don't think so. AQ can put you in a lot of trouble if you do not protect, especially early on with lots of limpers. You are either going to win a small pot or lose a big one.

Protect your hand and be agressive. The pot you will win will be slightly bigger, and you will not be beaten so easily.

I think you can be put in a lot more trouble by raising here than limping. What do you do when you're re-raised by one of the limpers?

If re raised easy fold. If u had limped that guy could extract a lot from u cause he has a better hand than u think, eg. if u flop a queen and he has AA or KK.

against people who want to see the flop cheap with small pocket pairs, suited connectors etc. make them pay if they want to see the flop.

If one of them volume re-raises you chuck the hand like its nothing? How much do you plan on raising? If you are called and you miss the flop what do you then? Someone with Kings could call your raise and you hit a queen on the flop you're still going to lose a lot of chips.

I don't see AQs as a hand that needs protected its more of a hand that needs help especially from small blind.
