Scenario: $200(+vig) tourney; 68 buy-ins. Total pool: $13,600. Total chips: 102K. Blinds: 2K / 4K. Paying out top 5: $6,800(50%), $2,720(20%), $2,040(15%), $1,360(10%) and $680(5%). Down to 4 players. UnderTheGun goes all in for 11K; Dealer, who has 60.5K, folds. LittleBlind goes all in for 12K. Total pot is now 27K. I'm BigBlind with 4K already in and 14.5K left. I have Jack-8 suited. Do I call the extra 8K?
If UTG beats LB, and I fold, UTG has 26K and LB is crippled with only 1K. If UTG beats LB and me, UTG has 33K and either I beat LB to have 8.5K left or LB beats me and has 2K and I have 6.5K, and I might only get 4th. If LB beats UTG, I get 3rd no matter what. If I fold, LB has 27K to my 14.5K. If I call and lose, LB has 35K to my 6.5K. Of course if I win I knock them both out, get at least 2nd, and have 41.5K to vie with chip leader's 60.5K. So should I call or fold?
