Just curious why they couldn't just do a live stream 24/7 assuming they do already have the bandwidth in the first place...could explain the subscription costs for the archive too... hmmm

The plan all along was to charge for the broadcast after a certain amount of time. Also, you need to pay someone to put up the hole cards, operate cameras, commentate (if needed) and that surely takes up a bit of manpower.

I dunno. Although this concept is quite interesting and I enjoy watching the games, I wouldn't pay a single penny to watch any show or rerun or whateva. I'd rather just play myself. Or watch online games. Bigger stakes. I know it's not quite the same but I just don't think it's worth paying for to watch a bunch of poker.
