BB in this hand is about 60/20 and is on the buddy list. Relatively normal aggression factor for this level, not a maniac, but not a LP either.

Hard to say this is overplayed when only A7 beats you (besides the SF). He can easily play 44, 33, A3, 77 the same way.

I'm thinking he either slow-played 44 or 33 or turned his set with 77. That's 7 hands you beat and there are only 4 hands that beat you. I think I'd cap it as well.

No, but from your tone, he had A7, but no way I give him credit for that or the Strght flush, I cap too...

Ok, just checking. He actually turned a straight so i was drawing at only 4 outs. I couldn't see not capping a full house on the river though as realistically i'm behind only A7.

yeah...especially this guy as he'll pay you off. I basically got all of his chips in two hands....where he overplayed slightly worse hands on the turn and river. The second hand I didn't post as I flopped the flush and he paid me off with a worse flush by capping the turn and river.

I am not a big fan of the preflop raise. Is that too tight?

Flop and turn look fine to me.

What would you do unimproved on the river? His turn cap makes it look bad for your hand IMO. Not bad enough to fold of course, but perhaps bad enough not to raise the river unimproved.

Guy.

I don't think the preflop raise is bad for an attempted blind steal. It was folded to me in CO...just the blinds and button left, I'm not folding, so i'm not limping, I raised it up. If I miss, I'll take a stab at the flop and if I don't get it, i'm done.

As for the plan on the river, unimproved I call a bet from villain, or bet if checked to, and definitely pay off a checkraise if it happened.

yes indeed!

i liked your line. I think you needed to make it expensive for any draws along the way (both straight and backdoor flush). With a more passive player I probably would have raised and then called the re-raise on the turn (rather than 3-betting).
