my wife wants to see "Upside of Anger" and her argument for why i should see it with her is that it got "two thumbs up" so it must be better than just a chick flick. my argument is that kevin costner:

1. sucks
2. hasn't made a good movie since field of dreams
3. peaked at bull durham

but that doesn't seem to be enough to get me out of going - anyone have any other good arguments?

I know it sounds ridiculous, but he's wonderful in the movie. The screen lights up in his scenes. He's definitely going to get an Oscar nomination. His name is above the title, but he should really be put into the supporting role category.

The movie is terrific. Better than Million Dollar Baby.

Go see it.

[censored] A right. Tin Cup is a great movie. How can a movie with Cheech and Don Johnson not be great? The only downfall to the movie is that Renee Russo is the love interest. I mean, were all 80,000 of the hot actresses busy at the time?

Are you serious? I might just go add Russo to my list of 5 right now.

What did you want, a happy ending where he wins the U.S. Open? He was a lovable loser and try as he might, he couldn't change.

Renee Russo was damn hot and sexy in Get Shorty.

Kevin Costner is a good actor but he really needs to cut down on narrating his own movies.

I may be the only person in the world who enjoyed Waterworld. That boat of his kicked alot of ass in that movie.

Here's my top ten movies with Kevin Costner:

1: Bull Durham
2: The Untouchables
3: Dances with Wolves
4: Field of Dreams
5: Open Range
6: Tin Cup
7: A Perfect World
8: JFK
9: Robin Hood
10: No Way Out

Costner was "famous" to those in the know for scoring with every leading lady he ever co-starred with. Then again, James Caan was once known for hitting every month in a couple of years' worth of Playboy Playmates.

It's good to be the king.
