I never seem to take advantage of these huge overlays either, but I'm trying Table 26 Bucephelus.

Lost half my stack to a short stack with KK against my button 88, then lost the rest with AA vs QT on a Qxx flop when a Q turned. 3 times in 2 days I've gone out with AA.

I'm losing to idiots too. Last hand my AK lost to T8s when the 8 paired on the turn. thankfully he never raised me.

Still have 4240 though.

Anyone else from here left?

Flop is AJ3 rainbow. I check. UTG bets 500. button calls. I raise to 1600. UTG folds, button calls.

Turn is a 4.

I push, button calls. button has 33 and has me covered. poop!

Sorry dawg.

Just cashed. 30 left. I got about 1/3 the average stack, so it's time to gamble.

What is a $10k overlay?

mikeshoe
03-18-2005, 09:08 AM
The prize pool (25k) was 10k more than the amount taken in from entry fees that would normally make up the prize pool.
