I recently got the new CD by Shooter Jennings and its great! He's a new country artist, but also a little rock and his dad is country legend Waylon Jennings. Has anybody else heard anything about him?

You lost all music credibility by claiming Radiohead as the winner of our Ultimate Music Challenge thread in OOT. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

I happen to like country - and opposed to many on here, have the nuts to admit it.

Not a big fan of Waylon's kid, but its not bad stuff. Big shoes to fill with his last name.

However, this does reek of semi-spam. I'll agree with you on that one. First posts with links to other sites are never a good idea in general, but oh well...

[censored] that, country is great. I haven't heard this kid yet though. And I'm not clicking that spammer's link, I'll download it off WinMX or something.

You have to like someone who says he's putting the O back in 'country.'

Real country (Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, etc.) is good.

Country pop (Tim Mcgraw, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, etc.) sucks donkey balls.

Clearly incorrect. Especially if you've seen any of those 3 live.

I have (well, one of them anyway). Just because you put on an entertaining show doesn't mean your music is good.

Fair enough...

Surprisingly, though, I tend to hear more that people like their music and like their live shows less. Keith Urban, who I saw in Minneapolis back in November, puts on a freaking rock show. My dad, who went with me (because my buddy cancelled literally last minute) told me he loves the music, but couldn't hear the words. Go figure.

That's cool with me, but do your balls have any credibility? /images/graemlins/smile.gif
