PartyPoker wont open HELP

When i attempt to open Party, it shows me the little "setting up connection" window, the status bar finally fills up, and then nothing happens. EmpirePoker loads in just a few seconds, same with Pokerstars. All I have really tried is uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm sure someone must have had a similiar situation before any suggestions?

maybe i should have mentioned, this started monday night. :/ my internet was screwd up til this morning the cable company came out and fixed it all. everything else is working fine. any other tips?

Do you have a firewall? lol 2nd and last time i ask you.

If so have you somehow disabled Party's access when it downloaded the latest update.

no firewall. empire works though. argh, guess i'll just sign up for an empire acct

i dont know what happened but it works now. i restarted into safemode. rebooted again and it worked;/ weird
