i have a friend who is very successful at online poker without ever depositing a dime of his own money....he found the offer where you get $50 free at Party and he's worked it up to $200 but he said that he saw AA vs KK 6 times in 10 hands at a 6max table and that party is obviously rigged...other than ignoring him, what can i tell him to disprove this?

Well he's turned $0 into $200 with no risk so it's obviously rigged in his favor ! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just let him keep playing - the longer he plays the less he'll think it's rigged.

explain to him how they would be risking a business that makes millions a day to do such a thing...
they make money either way, the added money that they would make by "rigging" the games would not outweigh the potential risk of having the whole thing shut down...

Don't even bother. He'll bust soon enough.

ditto...Poker is like the mob. You can probably make a good run, but sooner or later they're gonna fit you for some concrete shoes.

PokerTracker has helped me in some situations like this. When someone complains that XXX site is rigged because they've got 95 off 3 times in the past 6 hands, I pull up the stats and show them (tell them) that in 8500 hands I've got 95 off 92 times and AK off 91 times. Although its still not enough hands, its pretty convincing evidence that things even out in the long run.

Nothing. The world was flat for like thousands of years until proof hit everyone in the face. There will never be real proof that online poker isn't rigged so he's going to believe what he wants. And I wouldn't really call 50-200 dollars really successful, and if he's actually a solid player the AA vs. KK shouldn't phase him one bit.

I saw my second hand six max with this happening last night. One person AA, one KK, one QQ. Both times I've seen it everybody was all in preflop. First time I had KK and lost. Last night I had AA so that was good...until the king on the turn. It's been a frustrating couple of days.

yeah it was actually a 6-handed SNG he was talking about supposedly...i tried telling him that he'll never see it happen again but he was disgusted as he had the AA two of the times and lost to a set of kings
