(Note: I think that the majority of people who claim to have green eyes actually have brown eyes and are just deluding themselves.)

I don't confuse green and brown. But I have heard many girls with light brown eyes claim to have green eyes.

I definitely prefer blue eyes. To me, eyes are the most important part of a girls face.

It's not favorite. It's mandatory. It is my view that it is critical to produce offspring of only the purest of eye colors. To this end, my mate's eyes, as well as both her parents' eyes must match mine in order that we are assured of passing on the right genes.

My eyes are hazel, but sometimes appear green.

This is not something I ever noticed, but people comment sometimes that they never noticed my eyes were green.

Can anyone explain this?

IIRC Hazel in eye color can mean two things. It can simply mean a color (kinda a mix between brown and green i think?) or it can mean something like what I have, where my eyes from day to day will vary in color. Some days they're green, others brown, others blue.

mine do the same...they change colors with what i wear...from hazel to a brighter green...darker colors and my eyes r darker - ligher and they go lighter
