If you are a winning player, you shouldn't need to be staked.

my plan in the game was alright
at first i would play really tight
but if i got down
i'd go allin like a clown

the first hand i bluffed with eight high
and the caller he was not shy
he called it all
and i took a fall

that left me with seventeen
but i knew i still could be mean
they all limped behind
so i pushed in blind

only one guy called the bet
so i guess my challenge was met
but his ace-high would not get paid
since my ten-deuce featured a spade

the next hand i pushed with top pair
but they all folded their air
again pushing with top pair was a breeze
and doubled up by the guy who made threes

from that point on i did not lose
pay me off is what they did choose
the first fifty in get twenty-five earned
and the next fifty get their money returned

Have you seen Diablo play the last few days? He's doing anything but winning, so dropping down in stakes will definitely help his game.

yeah, i mean i know we all agreed with the guy who said he should definitely drop down from the 25/50 game. i just didn't know he was going to go down to a 50 buyin game.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't understand how a guy who loses $11,000-$15,000 pots could possibly need staking in a $50.00 buy in game. How could the game being so far below what your used to playing at even keep his attention? This is not a smart-ass post I am really curious because someone posted dropping down in stakes when losing is a good idea and I wanna know why that is. Thanks.

Take out of context, this statement is amusing.

'Cause I sure understand how that could happen to somebody losing pots like that.
