i have always thought that a set of 40's style pin-up girls would be the ultimate gentlemen's poker set. i am surprised there are no commercial sets available.

Thanks Goblin for fixing my post (new to this forum). And thanks for the comments. I got 500 Nexgens for $85 & the labels from Lynbark for $40? Pretty happy with how they turned out. Classy, not Filthy was definitely what I was going for. They're probably not commercially available b/c of copyright laws.

Very nice set. What do you think of the Nexgens? I've been thinking of picking up a set of 500, but the cheapest i can them for is 100. Do you mind me asking where you got them for $85? Did that include shipping?

What's the deal with labels? Do they have an adhesive backing and you stick them on?

Yeah. I tried using a staple-gun, and it really just didn't work out.

Nice chips... I really like the theme. Someone else posted their mock ups (http://www.texasholdem-poker.com/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=61981&highlight=#61981) using a similar theme.

Also, somewhat on the same subject... just saw this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63756&item=6162565 778&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) on e-bay... about the only thing you can do to up the value of the chip /images/graemlins/wink.gif. It says it's printed on and "not a sticker"? Interesting.

Heh, thought about that too, but decided it'd be classier & easier to read my nickname that way. If anyone's interested in desgins, I'd be willing to try some things for people.
