Hand 1

UTG ( $1295 )
HERO ( $850 )
CO ( $1450 )
BT ( $2690 )
SB ( $975 )
BB ( $2740 )

50/100 blinds. I have 66.

UTG limps and I fold. My reasons are 1) UTG limper, and 2) two much larger stacks behind me. I'm not unhappy about the way I played this, just thought I'd throw it in since there's a 'small PPs in EP' debate.

Hand 2

UTG ( $2690 )
UTG+1 ( $1025 )
CO Cyberdoc ( $2790 )
BT ( $1595 )
Hero ( $650 )
BB ( $1250 )

100/200 blinds.

3 Folds, BT limps, Hero folds, BB pushes and BT folds.

I feel like I missed an opportunity here (results oriented??), but with the limper and me being short I didn't feel like I had enough FE.

Hand 3

Hero ( $850 )
UTG+1 ( $1950 )
CO ( $2090 )
BT ( $1325 )
SB ( $2590 )
BB ( $1195 )

Blinds are 100/200 and I have A8s.

I guess this was a desperate move. If I fold I'm left with 550 after blinds and have no FE (so either get to push random vs random in LP or just wait it out and hope for strong hand). I probally won't get the opporunity to push random vs random next round or the one after.

If I push, there's a good chance of being dominated if I'm called. Can't remember table reads.

Hand 4

1st hand, I get dealt JJ in MP
Preflop:
2 folds, call, Hero calls, 2 folds, call, fold, complete, check

Flop ($75) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif
UTG+2 bets 15, Hero raises to 75, CO calls, UTG+2 calls

Turn (300) 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif
UTG+2 checks, Hero checks, CO bets 150, UTG+2 calls, Hero folds

I thought I was probally ahead on the flop, so bet roughly the pot. The turn convinved me I was beaten. I think this is pretty standard but I'm not great postflop so let me know.

Hand 5

UTG ( $892 )
UTG+1 ( $1075 )
UTG+2 ( $1395 )
MP ( $713 )
Hero ( $760 )
BT ( $2625 )
SB ( $1320 )
BB ( $1220 )

Blinds are 25/50, I have KQ.

Preflop:
3 folds, call, Hero calls, fold, complete, check

Flop (200) 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 10/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
checked through

Turn (200) J /images/graemlins/club.gif
3 checks, Hero bets 100, SB and MP call

River (500) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif
SB & MP check, Hero bets 250, both fold.

Got a few more that I'll post later.

You didn't put which hand you had for hand 2.

Hand 1: I think a fold is fine here. If the blinds were up to 100 200, I'd think you've got to push.

Hand 2: Unknown hand?

Hand 3: I think pushing is fine here, but it is definitely close. I wouldn't say that you will have "no fold equity" if you wait through the blinds, you would still have some small amount. I would probably fold here and wait for a better spot (you do get to see alot of hands before you get really really desperate).

Hand 4: This really is a weird way to play JJ. I would probably raise a little preflop. On the flop, I really don't see what you are trying to accomplish with your raise? Are you trying to buy the pot right here? Do you think you will get called by a hand you beat? I just don't understand the raise at all. The pot definitely isn't big enough to try and put a move on someone.

Hand 5: I really don't like your limp preflop, but all other streets seem to be played fine.

What range of hands would you push here with??
This specific hand wasn't a push (terrible hand) but just wondering what people think about the situation in general, and what their pushing range would be.

If you are talking about the hand 3, I would push with AT+, 66+, and maybe KQ.

"you do get to see alot of hands before you get really really desperate)."

True. I used to overvalue Ax alot more than I do now, which is why I questioned this one.

"This really is a weird way to play JJ."

Which is why I asked. The ONLY postflop experience I have is on party sngs, with 800 stacks, ie I'm very inexperienced postflop.

"Are you trying to buy the pot right here?"

To be honest I'm not sure what I was trying to do. Probally just to take down the 75 chips in the pot.

I don't raise preflop without QQ+/AK unless I'm in LP. It's got to do with what you suggested in my other thread.

"Do you think you will get called by a hand you beat?"

Rarely. Until lately I've been much weaker preflop early on (I would've checked this). I guess I thought it was probally a pot I'd take down there and then most of the time.

How would you play it and why* (*this is how I'll learn /images/graemlins/wink.gif)

Hand 2.

Hand 3 I wasn't comfortable about pushing the A8s. I know I'd push AT but fold A7, although I think I'd normally fold A8 and just got a bit desperate this time.

Hand 3 came a couple of hands after hand 2.
