Is this a good or bad fold? How should I play this flop? No reads on the player.

ick...terrible fold. Its HU, this guy could be easily doing this w/ AK, maybe TT which you beat. You've got 5 outs against QQ and KK. Call it down.

I think this is a weak fold. He's not shown you much to get you out of there with your hand.

At worst, call him down and then you'll have a read. This way you're just left wondering whether he bluffed you off your hand. What are you going to do in the next hand with him?

if you're willing to call the 3-bet preflop, what were you hoping to get on the flop that you would play? what do you think he has? pocket aces or pocket kings?

Bad. I'd three bet the flop. Possible hands you are ahead of: AK, AQs, 1010, maybe 99. If you get capped, call and hope for an A on the turn. Bet the turn if he calls your three-bet, regardless of what comes. If he raises, you can fold.

I don't really like this fold either. Without a read, I think I would 3 bet the flop and bet the turn if called. In the case of a turn cap, I probably call down after that. I'm not sure how correct this is, but I generally find myself doing that in situations such as these. Is this too passive? Does anybody like a stop and go?

a) Yes, this is a very bad play.

b) I'm also surprised that no one has offered the check, check, bet line.

With the minor exceptions of A /images/graemlins/heart.gifK /images/graemlins/heart.gif and possibly A /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif, free cards won't be much of a problem here.

Thoughts?
