BB checks likes to slowplay, UTG checks, Hero bets 3, SB calls, UTG folds.

Turn: 8 Pot: 13.50
BB checks, Hero checks...

River: Q
BB bets 4, Hero calls

Was this too weak tight? Seeing as this guy slowplays good hands. The paired board with a call scared me.

I would have preferred betting the turn and checking through the river. This could be 88 but it could also be AK,AQ,KQ, and if he's loose maybe even worse. You can't always be afraid someone's slowplaying the nuts. JMO

Is BB very loose? (as in he would call a flop bet w/ bottom pair or call PF-raise w/ A 8/K 8)

Anyway, I like that 8. The hand I feared the most on the flop is 8 8, which you can now more or less rule out. I'm betting the turn for value, and I start to worry when he gives me a reason to.

BB is pretty loose NOT very loose. I can see him calling w/ A8 here and slowplaying it. I've just been burned by top 2 pair too often that if there is a call and the board pairs I slow down.
