Decided for the fun of it that I would take a shot at 3/6 with 10 big bets after a nice session at 1/2.

No reads.

Thoughts on all streets greatly appreciated

You seriously need to raise more.

EDIT:

Hero raises, Hero calls.??????

What's wrong with the converter?

How often do I have to be ahead here to justify three-betting the turn?

Furthermore, how often am I ahead assuming no reads?

OP changed the posted hands. Previous hand lacked any 3 bets. Plus there was lines like: hero raises, hero calls with no action inbetween.

I would almost always forego the flop raise in favor of raising an expensive street - probably the turn.

Given the way you played the flop I would have smooth called the turn and raised the river most of the time and would raise the turn the other times.

Basically I play it like CDC but I favor a river raise over a turn raise... but it is close and I would guess the EV of the two lines are similar. It's tougher for AA to 3-bet you on the river though, and it's also tougher for JJ and QQ to fold on a big street raise if the raise is made on the river rather than the turn... but these factors are all balanced by the fact that JJ and QQ are more likely to check/call the river then they are to check/call the turn.

Very nice explanation of your underlying thought process. Thank you.
