I found MP3's calling of my flop raise a little bit strange, and basically i'm putting him on a flush draw and/or 2 overcards. Ax of clubs is the most likely holding. I'm beat here 80% of the time (maybe more), but is there any other option than check/folding?

Turn help?? How about flop help. You proudly boast how can you raise any 2 on the flop to 400 chips, yet someone calls you. Maybe this shuold lead you to reexamine the risk/reward of your play?

The flop play is much more relevant here than the turn.

Snap! What can I say? You're right. And I'm sorry that it sounded so pretentious.

I've been testing this play, actually, and I still need to learn which spots to pick. Obviously I still have some learning to do...

It didn't sound pretentious. I just found it funny that you wnould put in a big raise on the flop with nothing after 3 players have put in small bets, get called, and yet ask for advice about the turn!

I asked for advice for the turn because I checked-raised all-in and it actually worked. I'm seeing a lot of draws to the nut flush pushing it on the flop after they get raised by a genuine a hand (and not the junk I had), and he didn't do that.

What I really wanted to know was the kinds of hands you think I was probably against. Some time ago, I would be sure he had Ax of clubs, but because of the more recent nut-draw-pushing fest I did the check-raise as a test. It worked, so it made me wonder if this is a trend or if I just got lucky.

Even if the flop play is terrible, it put me in an interesting spot, so I thought I could learn something out of it...
