dumb question about searching

I don't know where else to post this and I can't see anything in the FAQ section.

I can't search for something plus something else. I'm used to putting a little + in the middle but that doesnt work here.

For example: poker+book

When I do this i always get no results. What is the correct way?

I believe it's "poker book"

right that works if the words form a phrase but I'm looking to search for topics with two specific words in them, not in any specific order.

Better example: poker+taxes

usually eboulean search words work like AND, OR, NOT
has to be capitals though
