View Full Version : should I have gone for a c/r on this flop?

I'm normally very suspect of people raising out of the blinds then checking the flop, but once everyone called my flop bet I knew I hated it and I knew I had to follow through on the turn....

Only second orbit, no reads.

I would certainly 3-bet AK from the blind here, but I'm not sure who of my opponents know this. I'd also probably never check the flop with AK u/i after raising from the blinds, but again, I don't know if anyone knows such things....

If the table is aggressive, I'll go for a check-raise, but against a table of unknowns I would just bet out.

Bet out most of the time but you should checkraise this flop maybe 20-25% it mixes up your play and it is nice to make most of the field call two cold... but sometimes it gets checked around and that is pretty devastating.
