PS: These are all 215 tournaments that I played on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

I didn’t want to do a #3 because I am lazy and I don’t like the number 3.(also because that tournament had no significant events)

I also want to do these 25 threads so hopefully I will learn how to adequately post a hand history and show the rest of the new players how to do one too.

#4.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP2 (t930)
MP3 (t1040)
CO (t950)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t50, 5 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (t150) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t225, UTG+1 raises to t2260 (All-In), SB folds, Hero calls t745 (All-In).

Turn: (t3380) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t3380) J/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t3380

My thoughts: I figured him for a pair of aces and was simply hoping he didnt catch 2 pair.

Hand 2 is an absolutely automatic call with KJo.

Hand 1 I think is fine too, probably you have the best hand and you are basically pot committed.

Just ignore me if I'm talking nonsense, but are you gonna be OK playing the 215's? It might be a better idea to hone your game at a level where the competition is a little weaker.

About me: I place high in a MTT this weekend and played 25 200+15 tournaments. I have very little experience with Sit'N'Goes much less poker in general. I havent played since because I want to analyze my play. The only reason I have stopped is because I found this place.

I am not sure what I want to do yet after I finish all 25 posts...but i'll do something thats for sure.

Slim: Dont stop posting please. I want to hear any advice possible.

I really think you should drop down. I probably play better than you do, and I'd get killed at the $215's.

1) You spent more on buyins than I spent on my undergraduate education. It's great if you're up, but I think you should drop down for a while, even if the money doesn't matter to you. JMO.

2) I don't think you're going to get a lot of advice on how to play 215's as a beginner. Most of the people who play them and post here aren't really into giving beginner advice in general. If you play the 215's, I can't help you. The play is too different from anyting I've ever seen for my comments to be relevant... or so I've been told.

Good luck.
