Not to be a jackass, but why don't you click on the store link that's right below the picture?

Not worth 8,000 points IMO. I'd say about $50-$60 including case and shipping. But prices vary widely across retailers, eBay, special deals, etc.

What the?.... I wrote a whole paragraph up along with that link. hmmm...

Anyway. I was wondering how much it would be valued at if it were sold for cash. And also about how much it would auction for on ebay. It used to be 17,000 fpps. It looks lt looks like the just recently lowered it to 8000 fpps. Has anybody used these before? are they good quality?

Thanks.

They look like the standard 11.5g metal slug plastic chips. People on these boards tend to look down their (our) noses at them, but there are plenty of them being used in games every day. They work just fine and look OK.

There are millions of these chips coming in from China, and they're being sold all over. You can probably get some for $19 plus $25 shipping on eBay, or $.08-$.10 each from an online retailer. I think I saw a set for $.01 or $.99 on eBay, but with the usual shipping rip-off of $39.95 or something like that. Search eBay for (11.5,11.5g) just in the titles and you'll get 4,500+ hits.

(I think that there will be a glut of these chips on the market real soon, and we'll start seeing incredible deals as people try to almost give them away.)

In the description it says they are 11.5 Gram Clay Poker Chips. What separates good clay pokerchips from bad clay pokerchips? Is it just that good ones last longer? Is it the brand name? Or the feel?

Sorry if these questions sound dumb. I started off with internet poker and am now starting to get interested in live play.

OK, I'll try to remain calm when talking about "clay" chips on eBay.

THE CHIPS AIN'T CLAY! THE SELLER IS LYING!!

Clay sells so everyone claims they have clay chips. They put "clay" in the description so they get included when people search for that. And since everyone else claims they have clay chips, all the sellers have to say this just to keep up with the competition.

But no way... no way in hell. These are plastic chips from China, period. They have a metal slug in the middle (use a magnet and see for yourself) to make them 11.5 grams.

Your question is not dumb, we all went through it.
