Cheap Seats is great. Why wasn't I watching this show before two months ago? On this second: WSOP 1994!

For those of you who havent seen it, the 1997 spelling bee episode is close to the best 30 minutes of television I've ever seen.

For my money, classic episodes of MST 3000 (circa 1995) are the best.

I haven't seen this in a while so I checked the guide. Set your DVR's/TiVo's for midnight Saturday night/Sunday morning.

This the the same girl they did a south park episode on too. It's only a 30 minute show so there's no way to get the real effect of her spelling mastery.

P.S. For some good times, record this years spelling bee (it may be many episodes) and the next weekend, assuming you don't know the results which shouldn't be too difficult, turn the bee into a drinking and gambling fest. When that guy fainted last year, who happened to be one of my horses in the $100 house pool, the alcohol made it so much funnier.

The kid who finished 3rd was named Sudheer Pottru, but one time he came up and they had Christine Lombardo up as his name. One of the Sklars says Christine Lombardo? that can't be right. I know of all the names I would've thought of for that kid thats about the last. Like what would you think his name would be? Oh off the top of my head, Sudheer Pottru.

Flash to the spelling bee where they suddenly put up his proper name Sudheer Pottru. No way!!!

Then they kept calling him Christine the rest of the show, yeah much better actually watching it, but you get the idea.
