Getting Started in Holdem

So this book should be read after Fundamentals of Poker but before Small Stakes Holdem, right? Or can you just bypass Fundamentals if you read this book?

Would you say that this is high school level reading material? In other words, let's say that a person is now 21 years old (and therefore old enough to legally gamble) but quit school in his sophomore year in high school with straight Bs average but A's in Algebra. Would this person be able to fully comprehend this book and make it work for himself in actual play?

Why are you so concerned with this nonsense? Does your army of poker playing, underpaid, slaves have only a high school education? Do you only have a high school education?

The real question is why are you so concerned with it?

A lot of decent poker playes have only a high school education.

Getting Started in Hold 'em is designed to be challenging for an intelligent, but inexperienced player. In other words, use of brain is required, but prior knowledge isn't. Also, the book is essentially equation-free. There's some math in it, but it's usually hidden in paragraph form. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

You obviously shouldn't have a high school education. He mentioned he didn't go past 10th grade in his post. Moron.
