van buying question

I found this van (http://newyork.craigslist.org/que/car/63851824.html) that I am thinking of buying. basically I am wondering why the hell it is so cheap, only thing I can think of is the 122k miles. is that really enough to drop the price so low?

so, related car question. what problems am I going to have taking a van like this on a cross country trip?
