If this doesn't already exist at PartyPoker, would anyone be interested in playing maybe 3-6 Omaha/8 @ PartyPoker.com together? During play critique each other and help, have fun. I suppose we could do 1-2 if there is lack of support for 3-6 or above. Please let me know, we could establish some times ...

I like the idea, but I have a feeling that money is going to complicate issues. Although it would be an incentive for the better players to join in it might make tempers flare, especially since I imagine bad beats are going to cause an uproar. Also, I cant afford 3-6 /images/graemlins/tongue.gif. Any other comments?

I'm learning and like the idea, but 3/6 is too steep for me.

If anything I think it should be 1/2 as the 1/2 10 person tables are usually empty at party poker(unless its 6 handed)and 1/2 is not that big if a deal if you lose, but its not completely worthless if you win like say .50/1 would be.

At 1/2 I would be up for this at almost any point Fri-Sun.

Why not just a private limit omaha8 tourney at stars with a five or ten dollar buy-in?

This is a great idea (and cheapest). It worked well with the 7-stud/8 tournament and has led to lots of hand discussion. Plus I've been getting hammered at O8 lately anyway.

I'm interested in this... I would rather play a cash game than a tournament. If people are concerned about the stakes we could always just do it for play money since I think we'd all be doing this to improve our games rather than to make money.

I'd be interested in this, but very low limits since I'm still learning Omaha/8. 1/2 sounds OK. I like the tourney idea, too.

I'm up for it.

I'd prefer cash game as need to come/leave as needed. Would prefer real money stakes so people are certain to care, but lowest possible since this is for learning.

Sounds like a great idea - I could sure use the help!

The lower the stakes the better, but I don't mind losing some money if I'm learning something.

Sorry, I was gone on spring break. So here is what I am thinking, one or two nights a week, monday and wednesday nights, 1-2 omaha/8 at a private table. How does that sound? Maybe say around 9pm eastern ...
