I decided to open up my game by changing over to the SSHE loose charts as an experiment and to get my VP up off of 12.4% Normally this is a fold for me, what do you think? Who's playign Axs in EP and has some data on it?

Villain is TA-N and I put him on a high Ace. He turned over an A/images/graemlins/heart.gif K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

Cap this on the flop. Rest looks standard.

cap the flop, if BB leads turn id call down. Although it would be hard to put him on a hand that u are behind to.

A8s is about my cutoff now for Axs in EP, and 1/2 is a good time to start ditching the bad ones, ie A4, A3s. some tables the low ones are worth a limp, but my default until I have a table read is to fold.

this limp is definitely ok though, as long as you don't overplay one pair.

Easy limp. Your VPIP of 12.4 is amazing. I (and many others here) raise more hands on the button than you play altogether... that's frightening. If seeing four people fold after you limp is common, you should cut the X off at around 7 or 8, though. Limping very weak suited aces becomes bad when pots often end up shorthanded.

As for this specific hand, I really like the play, specifically calling the flop 3-bet and raising the turn. I can't believe the guy didn't raise AKs preflop.

Post flop is good.

I play every Axs from EP when I know that the pot will have more than 3 or more opponents in. It's a better hand that people give it credit for.

At 1/2, I tightened up considerably. Just know your table.
