BB has lost several showdowns in a row and appears to be steaming from what I see in the chatterbox. Only had about 20ish hands on him. No real read on SB.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
6 folds, Hero calls, 1 fold, SB raises, BB calls, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, BB calls.

Foolish limp? I normally raise this... I think I was a bit on tilt myself.

Flop: (9 SB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB folds.

Raise here to drive out SB? I want a cheap showdown with BB. If BB had shown himself to be straightforward, I would raise here and consider laying down to a 3-bet.

Turn: (5.50 BB) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (7.50 BB) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

waht the hell is up with the open limp on the CO? just raise. people will play back at you if you raise from there thinking you're on a steal.

there's really no need to raise the flop. unless sb or bb has specifically a flush draw they're usually drawing to at most 2 outs against you on the AAx board or have you draing to 2 outs yourself.

Limp-raise with KK? Bet this normally preflop, no need to get fancy. Reraise on the flop, if BB 3-bets you can fold the turn UI.

Anyone disagree with folding on the turn UI?

Reraise on the flop

Why?

If I reraise BB in this spot and then BB 3-bets me, I know I am drawing dead. What if BB just calls my reraise? Then there is a possible chance of getting a free card on the turn.

Is this a bad assumption? Should I not be reraising in this spot?

Against a straightforward opponent I might raise the flop, bet the turn, then check behind on the river for a cheaper showdown, and like you said, fold to a 3-bet. This was a guy I suspected was steaming, and wtf is up with the bet into 2 PFRs? Wouldn't you expect a check/raise with an Ace?

I don't think you're that interested in getting a free card. It's way ahead or way behind; if you raise, he'll fold hands you beat that would've continued to bet. And he might very well just call a raise with an ace on the flop, giving you little information.

I want him to just call with an Ace and hopefully try and check-raise me on the turn.

At least TWELVE KK posts with an ace on the flop in the last month (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1996817&page=0&view=c ollapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1#Post1997318).

But this one is different. 2 As on flop. So it's a bit easier to play (?)
