Table #50, good luck everybody, hopefully I can repeat my success of last week's final table appearance (doubtful).

I know Party players are bad, but this table has got to be one of the worst I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, the one chance I had to isolate one of the morons (who had A6 and about 340 chips) another shortstacked moron (~480) came along with KQs and they both beat my JJ.

And, they've both since busted to other morons at the table so I won't get another shot at those two specifically.

Oh well, I could still make quit a run if I can just get a couple of hands before this table breaks...

I have 3200 in Level 2. Doubled w/ JJ v TT, then I took out two short stacks w/ AK v. 66 and AQs.

I saw that hand. Nice ace on the river. I sorta can't believe a-q guy overcalled.

Tyler Durden
03-14-2005, 10:34 PM
Did you think I played it badly? I didn't like my preflop play, but I wanted to force them into a tough decision.

Potowame
03-14-2005, 10:40 PM
i watched that one hand with four in a 4xbb raised pot, A8s takes it . dealer said pair of Aces with 8 kicker so somebody called all those bets with a worse ace, thats nice, lol. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Che
03-14-2005, 10:43 PM
Yes, it was very bad. I didn't get another real hand until after the table broke and I got no raise with my JJ preflop, no bet on the QJx flop, and only a small bet on the J turn. Nothing on the river. Ugh - that hand would have quadrupled me at my first table! LOL

Oh well, I gambled that a guy was bluffing a little later and I'm out. On to the Stars rebuy...

Later,
Che

Preflop i thought you had aces or kings and wanted to make an unusual overbet play that might garner a call. Would you make the same play again?

Tyler Durden
03-14-2005, 10:54 PM
Maybe. Not sure.

TexTiger
03-14-2005, 10:59 PM
Geez, the guy goes all the way down to T55 but doesn't call the river?

TheTimeIsUp

LOL Tex, I thought that was pretty funny too.

2135 at the break after winning lots of small pots.

Algasm
03-14-2005, 11:02 PM
Seeing that you got two callers I might do it with aces next time I'm in that situation. Was the table really loose? Or at least the original min raiser? Did you just want the 150 right then and there?

Tyler Durden
03-14-2005, 11:02 PM
t5495 at the break.

4 for 4 w/ big pairs (JJ 3 times, QQ once).

Dudd
03-14-2005, 11:03 PM
t1450 at the break. Card dead for almost the entire time, but I picked up aces and almost doubled up the second last hand before the break. Didn't have to show down though as I checked behind the turn, then must have induced a bluff as he raised 375 into me and then folded when I pushed all in for only 175 more.

ThrillFactor

t560

best hand I've seen was 66

TexTiger
03-14-2005, 11:03 PM
Yeah, dunno what he was thinking. Switched to that screen post flop so didn't see the action leading up to it, but still, with the blinds coming his way it was pretty weak. Guess he never heard of pot committed...

1410 at first break, only one hand and it was actually lucky got a Q on the river to double up from 740. Hope the cards get better this second hour

Tyler Durden
03-14-2005, 11:05 PM
Both of those players were loose/bad. I don't think I'd do it w/ a big pair.

Dudd
03-14-2005, 11:33 PM
0-2 on coinflips, and I'm out. AJ caught an ace on the flop, but the villian spiked a set on the river to take half my stack. Then, 99 loses all in to AT. Ah well.

Tyler Durden

I'm out. Played badly, made a misread.

14342 in chips after making a move on the bb with 77, he pushes, I call, he has 44 and I double up and take him out. 121 left, bubble time. Average is 7.6k.

Out 24th. QQ loses to A7s all in pf...would have had well over average.
