DET -7.5

That's it.
MEM is tired from a long road-trip and I'm not confident enough in them to blow away Portland. Blazers could hang around in this one and keep it close.
HOU-GS game doesn't do it for me either. GS is playing too well. Hou looks good but is playing back-to-backs so I don't have enough confidence in either side in this game.

Tempted to take BOS -3 but am laying off it. Not a good feeling about it.
LAL-WAS I don't have much a feel for either. Tempted to take WAS after LAL barely won at CHA.

Anyway - for some reason nothing really jumps out at me as being a stupendous bet.

It's one of those games that have me worried. The public is all over Houston and the line has moved to -3.5 when it opened at -3 / -2.5. Are the sharps on GS? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I took Houston at -2.5 as well and Boston at -2, both seem good to me... i think

there's not much wrong with the game or the line.
there is something wrong with tacking on extra 5 units to it though (assuming you normally bet 1 unit).

GS has been playing very well of late.
HOU is playing back-to-back's and could be flat.

I expected the line for houston to move to AT LEAST -5 and was shocked when it just moved a pt to -3.5

HOU wins by 3.
Not only is GS much improved but HOU has the fatigue factor to deal with closing out the road-trip (at least I think they're closing it out).

Saw the effects on TV with Memphis the other night.
MEM had been playing pretty well on the trip....but in their last game at Portland they just looked dog-ass tired (and still have lots of players nursing various injuries) and they scored a whopping 68 points.

Give them a day of rest and bring them back home against that same Portland team two nights later and it was no contest,

I really think the reason the GS/HOU line didn't move was due to GS's significantly improved play and also tacking an extra 1 point against Houston for playing back-to-back.
