I'm going to ask some questions, and I want answers!

I always hear about Gigabet finishing ITM over 40% of time in step 5's, how great he is, etc. So everytime I play I look for him in the step 5's, both multi-table and single-table. And he is never ever on.

Has he been on a long layoff? Does he play for 1 hour a day from 3 to 4 am?

Why do I never see this guy.

I believe I have seen hand histories posted from players here where his name is gigabet. I'm assuming that was not edited in. Also, no one would care about or post about gigabet if no one knew who he was. holla

I believe I have seen hand histories posted from players here where his name is gigabet. I'm assuming that was not edited in. Also, no one would care about or post about gigabet if no one knew who he was. holla

Maybe he changed his name because people had extensive hand histories of Gigabet...

There's probably a variety of reasons he did it. No need to get into it, but the guy is good. He's still playing, clearly, unless he's taking a vacation, but he hasn't been playing as Gigabet for a while.

I didn't think it was worth a post, but since it is being discussed...

Is holla, like holler, as in shout or like hola as in spanish for hello? I would guess like shout as in shouting one out to raptor in the house.

Wouldnt having a feared name like gigabet want you to keep that game so better players don't enter the same tourneys as you? Also they might be willing to fold to more of his steals. Or can people take advantage of his agressive style if they know its him? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd guess it was a matter of railbirding. It was getting *out of control* on party when Giga hit the STEP 5s hard and was on all of them like 24/7. He generally has amazing equanimity (from what I've heard and my impressions) but I saw him just go off on railbirders like twice (and I only checked out his tables once in a while when the STEP 5s were new).

I guess he can deal with losing tens of thousands of dollars in a bad swing but dealing with that *and* tons and tons of dorks telling everyone at the table to call you allin b/c you're the mighty Gigabet is most likely no fun.
