3/6 (which constitute many SS posts) and .50/1 (which constitute Micro posts) are so different, that I can't imagine why you would want to combine these.

Small stakes includes upto 15/30 online. Obviously a very different game than .5/1. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hmm.. yeah I pretty much was thinking the diff between .25-.50 and 3/6 is negligable. I agree 10-20 and higher play different, and, IMHO, should not be included in SS. But anyways I digress. My idea has been called the worst ever and it will remain so until I have another one and post about it /images/graemlins/grin.gif

where do you play 3/6 at online? seriously, because if it plays like the .25/.50 at stars i'm opening an account at that site tonight and going pro first thing in the morning. seriously, people report win rates over substantial periods of time in the micros in excess of 4-5bb's/100. sustaining anything over 2 is considered fabulous at the 3/6 party game. the difference isnt negligible, its night and day.

You haven't played much 3/6 if you really think this is true.

well B&M 3/6 games are often as soft or softer than Party .5/1 games, I play in one where its 6-8 LPP players on average .. and 5handed pots are shorthanded

but the forums should stay split

very true, but i think its safe to say that the majority of hands posted in both forums are from online games.

Mirage, there will be easier 3/6 games than the .50 online games any time of the day or night.

I haven't played a lot of 3/6 online in the last year. Have they become that much more difficult to beat? The $1/$2 and $2/$4 games are still crazy good. To me they all play about the same (even 3/6) but maybe that's not the case anymore. I agree at 5/10 the games have much fewer bad players and even more so at 10/20 and above.

I guess I go to the mid limit forum and hear everyone say about how the party 15/30's are full of donkeys and easily beatable and assume the 3/6 games can't be harder than those.

the difference between a bad player at 2/4 and a bad player at 15/30 is the bad player at 2/4 is loose passive, and the bad player at 15/30 is a loose aggressive who still plays relatively well. it takes alot of expierence and skill to beat the party 15/30. advice about playing similar hands will be drastically different based on the stakes.
