I am trying to develop my post flop muscles, I decided on the flop I was going to try to pick this up on the turn if everybody showed weakness and play it like I would if I had a monster. How did I do?

Yeah generally fold KQo in early position, but in the $33 and less buyins I might gamble and call.

Once you get to the turn it certaintly doesn't look like anyone has anything, but I think you just got lucky here. Generally running bluffs like this when 7 people see the flop is bad for business.

Oh ya, I also fold this pre-flop.

This might be a gross overstatement, but from my experience in 10s and 20s, a min bet at any time before the blinds get to around 50-100 means either the bettor has nothing/something that will be folded to a reasonable raise, or a monster hand.

The split between these two is like 80% nothing and its a pretty safe way to pick up an extra 50 or so at the start when people dont really care. With so many people in the pot it's a bit scarier, but min bet calls are usually even a bigger sign of weakness.

These people will draw to any old garbage, and it's an almost perfect flop for everyone to have hit some of.

Maybe take your card for 30 to try and make your gutshot, but basically do nothing here.

Maybe I should bump the GauchoFish thread to divert his attention.

Value of potential diversion not worth the suhrus(sp?).

Bad position, too many opponents, turn check isn't consistent with how you'd play a set.

I don't mind the preflop, but on the flop you whiffed and now have 3 outs. Fold on the flop. Picking this up on the turn is not going to work most of the time.

even late its bad w/ more then one caller, too early...if it were suited its a marginal limping hand in EP...but why mess with it? you're gonna be dominated enuff of the time to make this an easy fold IMO

Yeah, no way I call that early with KQ, even suited. On the button or CO I'll try and pick up the blinds with it. I might complete in the SB with some limpers. But generally I muck it.

I'd probably fold the KQo yea....I think I'd call with KQs though. The only reason I'd call with KQo is because I thought the opposition was so weak that they'd call me in ridiculous situations.

also why get involved with bluffing at this pot late in the hand...what'd u win, a whole seventy chips? bluffing is for late game...
