Hot off the presses. Apparently, the HE game we all know and love is going the way of the dodo.

I prefer tic tac hold'em.

Round of betting, deal a flop.
Round of betting, deal another flop.
Round of betting, deal a final flop.

Players must use both hole cards and can only use a tic-tac-toe pattern to make their 5 card hand.

Here is why the new version is better for the players:
In the existing game, the players have only five community cards to select from and, if they don’t make it on the river, (the fifth and final card), that’s the “end of the line”. They are allowed to use one card from the hand, and four cards from the board or even all five community cards and none from the hand. The game is closer to a "MINI LOTTERY" of a sort, rather than a poker game.

Instant journalistic credibility.

Pending patents don't have numbers. And his "patent" number is totally wrong.

They play a game called "Double Hold'em" at the Aviation Club in Paris.

Each player is dealt two hole cards, and the they deal two flops, two turns, two rivers, there is then a split pot for the winner of each hand.

This game can generate crazy amounts of action.
