THis was sort of a steal raise from the CO here for me, but I also figured I'd have the best hand. The SB is tight, but unimaginative so I think he wouldn't slowplay trip nines on me with ths flop. When I backdoored my flush was I right to go nuts with the raising. I had been really aggressive so I din't know how I should've played it

Looks good except for your 3-bet river. Villian isn't going to be betting here unless he's beating you. Just call it down.

I disagree, people discount backdoor flushes because they're runner runner, and slowplaying trips and sets is ridiculously common at 1/2. I don't like the 3-bet because I don't want this capped, and the board is paired. I can't decide though, lower flushes will play this aggressively, and an unimaginative trips will too.

I 3bet that river all day every day.

Super standard. All streets are perfect. He either has clubs or 76 for a straight. if he has 95 or something then more power to the guy. It is impossible to say that his most likely hand is a full house when he check/raises the river. I'd lay 10:1 that he doesn't have a boat after the c/r.

I finally got to a hand before Brad so I could contribute something useful without looking like I was copying! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
