I love jellybeans. Probably my favorite snack food (Mmmm Jelly Belly Sours), but when I was 5, I put one of these in my mouth. I promptly spat it out and never ate one again.

Terrible, and not because they make your tongue black.

i think black licorice is a girl thing (but no it doesn't mean anything if you're a guy and like them). they just seem to like them for some reason.

Very odd. I have always thought the opposite. I've never in my entire life met a girl that liked black licorice.

So I went back to CVS last night for the post-Easter candy sale. Black jellybeans were $0.09 for a 10 oz bag. I bought $2 worth.
