That's not a trifecta.

If I'm not mistaken, a trifecta is a check/raise on all streets, not just a raise.

Beautiful. This is my favorite kind of three-whateveryouwannacallit. I find it so funny how some players will just bet into you on every street. I'd love to see what the BB had since he kept cold calling on all streets.

OH

Then what do you call this and how do you define trifecta

I true perfect trifecta is this, and I have only done it once in my life:

Pre-flop: limp, get raised, and then either 3- or 4-bet.

Flop: check-raise and get called.

Turn: check-raise and get called.

River: check-raise and get called.

Some will argue the pre-flop move isn't required, however, it is what I believe to be the required set-up in order to qualify you for Trifecta status.

I have never done that, that sounds very very difficult to accomplish.

So raising the same guy 4 straight times on every street, there's no name or acknowledgement for that??

wow, they are totally right. you need to CR to have a trifecta.

Note: a lot of people don't say you need the whole limp-get-raised-then-raise-back Pre-flop move, but at the bare minimum you need to CR flop, turn, river and get called each time.

I simply MUST find the games where the guy keeps raising after you check-raise him on two streets....

It's not really much of an argument, since the word "trifecta" clearly implies the number three. Which would be three streets, which means the preflop action has nothing to do with the trifecta. If you wanna call the one with the preflop limp reraise a superfecta, go right on ahead.
