So I have a room in my house that's sitting empty. It's about 20'x20' and carpeted. I need to make it awesome.

Any suggestions appreciated.

these were the first three that came to my mind as well. might as well throw in a nice sized leather couch to watch the TV on.

You gotta get a plasma TV though if you're serious about this.

Oh man. You could also get a nice, but not extravagently nice, big screen, buy an Xbox, get it modded, and put all the old games from other systems onto the harddrive.

Getting plastered, playing some Golden Tee (there plenty old and new floating around eBay, and probably on craigslist too), and then some Contra/RBI Baseball/Super Mario Kart/whatever you want on a bigscreen would make your house the best.

ALMOST ALL YOU NEED (http://www.3cushion.com/Equipment.htm)

Add a plasma screen and a chair or two. (the pictured cues won't work tho.)

This game sounds incredibly hard and frustrating. Thus making it a bad choice to combine with alcohol, which I think would devalue the room a little.

I'd go for a massive Halo/bar setup

Personally, I'd like to make it into a poker room to hold weekly games. It would need a casino sized table, nice heavy chips, racks, and memorobilia on the walls.
I'd probably also have a flat screen hanging on the wall.

so, live in whores are out?

how much are those indoor golf things? the ones where you hit into the screen and it will figure out how far it went and how much it curved and all. those are pretty cool.

Home theatre would be at the top of my list. Not just a nice TV with a surround sound system. Projector, theatre seating, theatre sound, cloth on the walls, blackout curtains, soundproofing, the whole nine yards.

This thread has the potential to go downhill very quickly. I'm going to leave before I finish this beer and get myself banned from the forum.

i'd make sure to put a glory hole in one of the walls.

if you don't know what that is, use google.

Throw in some dimmable ceiling fixtures and add some silly wood trim to make it look like something's actually up there.

Throw a hold'em table in there with a bunch of cheap office chairs for the players. Mount 23" tvs in two corners and throw one big plasma screen on the smallest wall with two L shaped couches around it and two small coffee tables. Mount a vapir vaporizer into one of these tables.
