The villian in this hand is a well known stars tourney player and is someone I consider one of the better more aggressive players at the final table. Just wondering what you guys think of my flop and turn plays. Results to come.

A few thoughts:

raise more PF, I like 22,000. Remember there are antes, and you are giving the BB very good odds to call with a wide range of hands.

Bet that flop, its not very scary.

Raise on the turn is ok, maybe a little too big though, raise less so you can get away from the hand when you get 3 bet.

You may have had more then 8 outs... I hope you hit!

Atleast raise 2.5 to 3xBB preflop. Then you dont get in a mess as often where someone hits a junk two pair against you because you gave them great odds to call preflop.

Bet the flop. So you missed, he might have to. You raise preflop. You HAVE to bet this.

Lastly, why go alliin with probably only 8 outs. There's a possibility that your 6 KQ's are outs, but I doubt it at this point.

Hero here could possibly have 9 flush outs as well. We're talking 15-21 outs here potentially.. of course if villian has the Ad or the made nut flush we're drawing thin.

But with a larger PF raise and a continuation bet on the flop we avoid this decision.
