This stat interesting, or just flammable?

I've gone 82 consecutive pocket pair hands without hitting a set (only considering those hands which went as far as the flop).

Funnily enough though, of those 82 times I would have rivered quads on exaclty none. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yeah, it's pretty unlikely that you go 82 hands without a set. It felt like all day for me as well, honestly, but sometimes it just happens. (Warning, bad statistician alert) What happened all the times you folded a pair preflop?

Not that it's completely your fault but this is an improper use of 'holla.' Here is how you may use this term (can be added to FAQ if necessary):

Guidelines for a post using the term 'holla' in the STT forum:
1. Your post cannot contain consistently correct syntax.
2. Your post cannot contain consistently correct spelling.
3. Your post cannot contain consistently correct grammar.
4. Your post must contain several ellipsis to break stream-of-consciousness reasoning.
5. You must be able to at least 8-table the $55s for significant profit.
6. You have to be 18.
7. You must suck at chess.
8. You cannot use a question mark, so 'holla?,' is not acceptable.
9. You are encouraged to use an exclamation mark if you feel the urge.

10. If you are responding to a post with correct usage of 'holla' then you may use it in the response, ignoring the above rules (except 8).

So, while I would love to use this term in my post, I cannot as you failed to abide by *any* of the rules.

During the streak there were 13 times when I folded a poket pair and we saw a flop, in one of those hands I would have made a set had I seen the flop.

For my punishment I didn't hang myself, but did just fold 88 to a pf raise where I would have flopped a set and rivered quads!

Just called a pf raise with 88, and thought the drought was finally broken when an 8 came on the flop.

But it wasn't, bacuase another 8 also came on the flop, and I didn't flop a set I flopped quads!

Did triple up tho! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
