So this will be a +freeroll for each of them due to PPV, endorsments, etc.?

Vince Young

Uhh, I really doubt they won't put up the money themselves.

tbach24
03-11-2005, 09:58 PM
I agree. I'm saying that PPV will be paying them and this will be good for endorsements and sales a for both of them, making this incredibly +EV basically to the point of a freeroll.

Vince Young
03-11-2005, 10:02 PM
Oh, I see what you mean now.

There's no chance 50 will accept though, he knows he's not on Jada's level, especially as far as battling goes. Getting beat by someone unknown by most definitely wouldn't be good for him.

Oh. Well at least he'll lose with dignity then. I just don't see how 50 can lose a battle to anyone mainstream except mebbe Jay-Z or Eminem.

nice avatar BTW.

You know what I'd really love to see though, a Battle Royale between D-12, D Block, and G-Unit. I'd pay good money for that.

Because not a lot of mainstream rappers battle...there are still a lot who could beat 50, though, and even more if you count semi-mainstream rappers like Royce and 'Bis.

First of all, this is probably not going to happen. Second of all, 50 is a better rapper. I would put odds at around 1-5 that 50 will win, if I was a sportsbook. There are a handful of rappers who could beat 50 in a battle, Jada is not one of them, the mainstream ones would be Eminem, Jay Z, Nas at his best, maybe one or two I'm forgetting.

Lol you are sick. I would gladly take 5:1 odds. Jada would smash 50 cent so hard it wouldnt even be a battle.

03-11-2005, 10:45 PM
Voltron, you are an idiot. Jada already killed 50 on Checkmate, and that is not even his official dis track. His big one will be on the new Styles P album.

There are plenty of people who can slaughter 50 and Jada is definitely one of them.

"Nas at his best"... yah Nas at his worst can still beat 50.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is what I was wondering. What stops them from just writing something beforehand and then memorize it? I think they should make it a themed battle. Like, 30 seconds before 50 raps, ref says "Ok, rap about how much better your favorite sandwich is than Jada's." Then to respond, "Jada, please let us know which state is the best to live in.'

thatpfunk
03-12-2005, 07:04 PM
hypothetically the beat/tempo/duration isn't known beforehand so they will not know how long the lines should be...

but its not too difficult to adapt the flow to any beat, it may just sound a little awkward.

ThaSaltCracka
03-12-2005, 07:06 PM
well, the whole point of a battle rap is to respond to whats being said to you, then attack with something new and unexpected. I guess its possible the initial "freestyle" could be prepped, but after that I don't see how they could pre-write it. IMO, Jada just has far to much experience rapping and freestlying, that really 50 stands no chance.
