He won that hand.

PH limps with red aces on the button, icfishies raises in the SB, NW calls in the BB, hellmuth 3-bets, both call.

Flop comes KJx, two clubs. Check bet raise call call
Turn comes a ragged club. Check check bet call call
River comes another rag. Check check bet call fold

PH shows the aces and takes the pot down /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I just don't get Neverwin (Dustin something or other). Is he really that good or will he be broke soon. Another player Chipmovr made the same comment Phil just made about how Neverwin always caps and prays. "cap and pray cap and pray. Seems to work for him though.

I'm guessing Phil had AQ on that one.

Unless there has been a software change, UB doesn't have 40-80.

He was also playing 3-handed this morning around 10am EST, picked up about 4k from his initial buy-in and split when it was heads up and he lost 3 pots in a row.

miajag81
03-11-2005, 10:13 PM
on quite a rush right now

I dont know whether he's playing everything to river and getting lucky or making some fantastic calls - but either way he's owning them.

I don't remember the board any more. All I recall was a capped preflop 4-way (or was it 3-way?) and then a bunch of babies on the board, and Phil folding with a big pot on the river. You may be right, he might well have called with AQ.

Flop was capped 3way, all babies 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif's, check, bet phil raised, fold, reraise. Turn and rive 2 more little ones phil calls turn and folds river getting 11:1, looked like a draw

TimTimSalabim

Wow, Phil was down to like 6k, now he's up to 15k.

TimTimSalabim
03-11-2005, 10:43 PM
Phil is showing down some "interesting" hands. A5o in a 4-way capped preflop?

cwsiggy
03-11-2005, 10:47 PM
If I was him, I would quit up 15k!

NORM77

seems like he plays almost every hand, but he's up $11,000 in just over an hour.

TimTimSalabim
03-11-2005, 10:49 PM
He seems to like Q3 and T7 a lot too. I guess you have to be either really bad or really good to play those kind of hands.

TheJackal
03-11-2005, 10:53 PM
I dont know whether he is just flat out lucky or that good. I've seen him call down twice with ace high and both times he was right so who knows.

If you have played at or watched a lot of high limit play, calls like that do not seem so unusual.

I think Hellmuth has a new career online. He's killing it tonight!

cwsiggy
03-11-2005, 11:07 PM
Uh oh - Neverwin just rejoined the game. Look for Hellmuth to steam all his $ away to 2 outers capped!!!!

DontRaisePlz
03-11-2005, 11:10 PM
Neverwin with two straight 2500 pot losses, one of which coming by Phil's favorite hand, 99.

TimTimSalabim
03-11-2005, 11:11 PM
And the other one he flopped a set of kings and lost to Phil's runner-runner flush.

Considering he usually gets killed in limit ring play I'd say he was quite lucky tonight.

maybe they meant 40/80 blinds. if i recall correctly, they do spread that for triple draw.

and freaking UB lists things as their blinds, instead of their limits. easy confusion.

UB needs to remove the blinds from the limits of the game. that gets confusing pretty fast.

I downloaded UB today and was checking out some of the games and I saw him playing someone heads up. The 200/400 heads up lhe game is a little tighter than say 1/2 heads up lhe but neverwin seemed to be pretty loose. he called a river bet twice and mucked where he couldn't beat a pair of deuces. they say his swings are big.
