5-Card Stud Help

Does anyone have any general advice for playing 5-Card Stud? I have played a few times in a home game, but don't have much feel for the game. I have never seen a book or website specifically deal with 5-stud strategy.

Only play with a count of 19 or better and when at least one of your cards is higher than any you can see. Bring a copy of "War and Peace".
