View Full Version : General advice on profitabillity for preflop drawing hands

I understand all the relevant factors that go into making a decision about playing low pocket pairs and suited connectors/semi-connectors preflop, but I wonder what general guidelines you guys use for profitably playing these hands at a 100bb table that is fairly loose (e.g. PS .25/.5 or .5/1).

Play them with position, 100xbb stacks are fine if you are limping with them but you probably want a bit of a deeper stack if you are going to play them against raises. I've found that aggressive flop semi-bluffing with flush draws/straight draws etc is gold at these limits.

Also, a lot of people in the small stakes forum would be better suited to answer your question as these are the games they focus on.
