Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)
MP2 (t1170)
MP3 (t605)
CO (t1275)
Button (t985)
SB (t2240)
Hero (t970)
UTG (t990)
UTG+1 (t875)
MP1 (t890)
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif.
5 folds, CO calls t30, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises to t120, CO calls t90, SB folds.
Flop: (t270) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets t125, Hero calls t125.
Turn: (t520) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets t175, CO folds.
Final Pot: t695
Did I get enough out of this hand? Did I protect it correctly on the turn by going all-in?
Flop: Checking could have cost me a chance to bet, but since I raised from the BB, I believe I made it look like a semi-steal that missed. Am I better off making a half pot-size bet and risking he folds?
Turn: I would have liked to get more out of him but at this point I'm afraid of two spades or single J, 8, K or some sort of combo draw. If he had a smaller set, two pair, TPTK, then of course I love for him to stick around. I had conceded that if he had KJ or J8 I was dead and gone, unable to get away from this hand (and hoping the board pairs or gives me the last Q).
As ever, thanks for your input.
