I also took 10 days off of MTTs.

Table 19 with T2300

I doubled up with AA versus JJ and then took down another 400 with KK.

I have only played two hands post flop.

Good luck,

Ok, out 324th...

I had like 3400 chips, avg 2200...

Villian in the hand just tripled up the hand before going all in with 33 vs AA and JJ, and spiked a 3.

I knew right when I did my move, he would reraise me all in with any premium hand, and I would have to instant call.

Hey Ytrain, your at my table in the 100+9 game GL to u

davidross

kind of a weird night, losing with good hands and winning with trash.

LethalRose
03-11-2005, 12:14 AM
would you say you guys accumulate more chips by going all in PF with good hands or stealing pots and betting for value?

Tyler Durden
03-11-2005, 12:14 AM
yea i noticed. GL to you too.

MP raises to 700 (blinds 100/200), I have 66 in the co and 4800 chips. BLinds are pretty short and might move in for 700 or 1200.

davidross
03-11-2005, 12:20 AM
usually i get chips by making big bets post flop with hands that are better than top pair, and getting called. I find big flop bets are much more likely to be calle dthan bets on later streets.

ThrillFactor
03-11-2005, 12:25 AM
if MP is not all-in, I drop it quick.

If he is, I think you have to reraise to let the blinds know you're serious.

Im out around 160th, I pushed my 7's after davidross raised pf for the 3rd time in a row, bad timing, he has K's and im out. Cant seem to break past a certain point in big tournys, oh well, I will keep trying, feel like im doing most everything right /images/graemlins/smirk.gif gl davidross, no hard feelings /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Stipe_fan

Up to T9700

Took out a short stack with AQ vs AJ

Then moved to table 3. Third hand played, EP raises 2XBB, MP reraises, I push 1/2 my stack with QQ and called by MP, flop is 4,4,10, I push, he calls with 3,3!

I going to like this table!!

Stipe

davidross
03-11-2005, 12:38 AM
TOugh break, that was a dream situation for me, I raise with A8s and win the blinds, next hand I raise with 44 and win the blinds, then i pick up cowboys.

Tyler Durden
03-11-2005, 12:39 AM
Stipe, I have stack envy.
t5200 on table 1.

Tyler Durden

Third break....short stacked again.

Lost 1/3 of my stack JJ versus QQ. I could have been out but felt I was beat so slowed down.

I had to fold pf after raising 3XBB with 9-9 versus big stack and
AQ verusu, so he said, QQ

Good luck

davidross
03-11-2005, 01:16 AM
I had to fold a pf raise to a button all-in too. Pretty desperate now, but lots of big stacks at the table, don't think my usual bubble all-ins will fly here.

Tyler Durden
03-11-2005, 01:22 AM

David,

When I reraised the probable steal, I had J-10o....I thought he was stealing and he plays tight so I knew he would not call me reraise.

Playing the odds!!

Weird stuff at my table...Garbe has been playing solid since he got moved to my table, now we're in the money and this happens:

I raise UTG to 2k w/ AK, he makes it 5k in LP, i move in for 7k more, he calls w/ 44, I double up. Ever hear of folding?

t23k now.

OK. Time to come clean. I changed my name recently to BiffaloBluff (like from Dr. Seuss's Mrs. McCave who had 20 some sons and named them all dave, and sometimes she wishes that when they were born she named one of them . . . Buffalo Bill and one Biffalo Buff...).

But soon after I did it, I sucked out badly against davidross (limped with KQ in late position, his 57 BB flopped two pair to my pair of Kings, I bet, he reraises, I push, knowing I'm beat, and I suck out on him).

So I haven't been on the forum out of shame. So, I'm coming out. Yes, davidross, it was me, to my great shame. Then I, of course, had my AA cracked by AJo an hour later or so...

Anyway, I busted out early. Limped with 66, flop came Ad6d9h, one person bet 1/3 pot, one caller, I push allin (stack sizes are relevant, but you're not interested), get called by Q9d, who hits his flush, and I'm out early.

Was at the final table at the 7pm $100+9 at the time, but then reraised a very loose player's miniraise from MP with AQs on the button, he called (I had 10BBs as did he) with 99 and I lost the race. ARGGGH! Hate to get 10th. And had my KK lose to A4o when I pushed with 4BBs 9 from the money in the 9:15 $100+9.

Anyway, it's me, BiffaloBluff. Looksl ike it's a good night for the trout. I'm off to watch my tape of Survivor and CSI now. See you guys soon at the Friday Special.
