Posting in MP, LP and a raise in front...how should I play these?

My first hand into the game and I post from the cutoff. Somebody raises in front of me. How, in general, should I play these hands?

Folding trash. That's easy.
But the decent hands.....
Play like I'm in the BB and facing a raise?
Call with whatever I would call 1 bet with?
Can I open up a little bit more since I will have good position? (i.e. calling with 2 suited cards if I see it's going to be multiway)
Should I be folding hands that I wouldn't call two cold with? (I don't think this is right..)
What about for MP?
