Movie Avatars

I've seen some cool avatars with screen shots from movies. I tried to do it by pausing a movie, hitting the PrtScn key on my keyboard, and pasting the image into paint.

I thought it worked. I saved the file but when I re-opened it, the image was gone. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

That is beacuse you only capture the overlay when you do that. Open the movie in one mediaplayer, press pause. Minimize it, then open it again in another one, now make the screenshot. The second one will draw directly on the canvas of windows witch means you can capture it. Simple workaround I came up with some years ago when I had the same problem.

Maybe tomorrow. I guess now I have to figure out how to use the avatar.
