I raise preflop. Not so much that I can't get away from it, but I don't want to play jacks against five other players. Right there you're putting yourself in a spot where you likely will lose. If I raised and narrowed the range, I make a stab at it to see where I stand. In your case I'm willing to check/fold until I improve against that field. Betting at the 9 (a card that could help several hands) was wrong in my opinion.

Second Hand: Looks alright, but I bet harder on turn. Your giving him almost 3:1 to see the river. Not enought for a flush, but I still like to make it a tougher call. Let him pay to see a miracle w/ a bet of at least 200 but I probably bet closer to pot size of 270.

your preflop play in hand one makes me want to puke.

and i think you missed some value in hand two. i'm not saying go overboard, but a slightly bigger bet can earn you a couple more bb's.
