2nd down day in a row at 2/4, so I'm trying the Empire daily 1+0 micro NL tourney to change my mood. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully I'll do better than yesterday. 1st place is $87.87!!! 40th place is $2.28!

If GrunchCan can win one of these, why can't I?

Just be sure to pass on marginal +EV situations until you get some chips, dude.

Actually, the tourney I won was one of the 1+0 WSOP TV Star supersats. Got me an entry in to a weekly 100+10 satellite, which I didnt win.

I finally play a hand! JJ in the BB, 3 limpers, I raise 200, they all fold. But because the blinds eat into me a bit, I'm at 1010 in chips. We're 17 minutes into the tourney and already 303 out of 351 remain.

Uh-oh! I get JJ again, this time MP1 and raise 200, 1 caller. Flop is 9 8 7 rainbow, I go all-in and get called by QQ. Fortunatly I've still got 317.

I double up! I'm BB with A8 offsuit and 290 in chips. 4 limpers and I go all-in, they fold except the SB who has K8 sooted. I vin. 684 chips.

MP with A8 sooted and call 20. Flop has and 8 but I check, turn is free and pairs the board (9), EP bets 20, I call, LP calls. River is K. We all check and I split with LP who also has A8. 744 chips. 2 hands later I fold AJ offsuit from UTG. Is that wrong? I am still kinda short stacked.

Blinds are still only 10/20, you can make it 4xBB to go with AJo. Have to be careful postflop tho.

the blinds were 10/20 for both JJ hands?? ..

tourneys are fun, I have 3 top20(1,5,19) finishes in 1000ppl+ tourneys, the money doesn't get real good till the final table though

Ugh I gotta double up again soon. I get A10 offsuit on the button and make a healthy raise. Short stack calls. Flop is Qh 5s 3h (I have Ah) I put short stack all-in, he calls with KQ....ugh....338 chips left.

I get 88 in MP and go all-in and get limp-re-raised by AA from UTG.
